Barnabas Ninfom Tanaab

Doubles as the Secretary and the Finance Manager for Desert Oil Ghana Limited. He is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana, he holds MBA (International Finance and Controlling) from the University of Applied Management, Germany, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy, and a Professional certificate in Tax Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Tax Accountants.

He has also completed a certificate programme in Fraud/corruption control and the nine steps of Forensic Investigation process with the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP).

He has over ten years of practical and demonstrable working experience in internal and external auditing, financial reporting and management in the Oil and Gas sector. Prior to his current position, he was the Finance Manager for JL Properties Ltd, where he led the finance unit of the company with an investment portfolio of over US$30milion.

As an Internal Auditor for Nasona Oil company limited, He led in the development & implementation of major internal control systems that ensured effective prevention and detection of errors and fraud and as well as compliance with statutory regulations and policies. As an Audit Assistant at ABU & Associates, he participated in the audit of profit and non-profit making organizations in Ghana including Oil Marketing companies such as Nasona Oil, Delima Oil, Unique Oil to mention
but a few.
